বাংলাদেশ খেলাফত মজলিসের আমিরে মজলিস আল্লামা মামুনুল হক-এর নেতৃত্বে একটি প্রতিনিধিদল আজ ঢাকাস্থ রাশিয়ান দূতাবাসে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করেন। বৈঠকে রাশিয়ান দূতাবাসের পক্ষে নেতৃত্ব দেন মহামান্য ভিয়াচেস্লাভ সেন্টিউরিন, মিনিস্টার কাউন্সেলর ও ডেপুটি চিফ অব মিশন।
বৈঠকে বাংলাদেশ ও রাশিয়ার মধ্যকার দীর্ঘদিনের বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ সম্পর্ক আরও জোরদার করার বিষয়টি গুরুত্বের সঙ্গে আলোচনা করা হয়। প্রতিনিধিদল বাংলাদেশের প্রতি রাশিয়ার ধারাবাহিক সহযোগিতার জন্য আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেন।
আলোচনায় বাংলাদেশের জ্বালানি খাতে চলমান চ্যালেঞ্জের প্রেক্ষাপটে রাশিয়ার সহযোগিতা আরও সম্প্রসারণের আহ্বান জানানো হয়। একই সঙ্গে মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের চলমান পরিস্থিতিতে শান্তি ও স্থিতিশীলতা বজায় রাখতে একটি দায়িত্বশীল ও শক্তিশালী রাষ্ট্র হিসেবে রাশিয়ার গঠনমূলক ভূমিকা প্রত্যাশা করা হয়।
এছাড়াও উভয় পক্ষ সংস্কৃতি, শিক্ষা, অর্থনীতি এবং অন্যান্য সম্ভাবনাময় খাতে পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতা বৃদ্ধির বিষয়ে আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করেন এবং ভবিষ্যতে এ ধরনের সংলাপ ও যোগাযোগ অব্যাহত রাখার ওপর গুরুত্বারোপ করেন।
বৈঠকে বাংলাদেশ খেলাফত মজলিসের পক্ষে আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন যুগ্ম-মহাসচিব মাওলানা আতাউল্লাহ আমিন এবং পররাষ্ট্র ও আন্তর্জাতিক বিষয়ক সচিব জনাব ফারিদ খান। রাশিয়ান দূতাবাসের পক্ষে উপস্থিত ছিলেন প্রেস সেক্রেটারি সোফিয়া কুতেপোভা।
উভয় পক্ষ পারস্পরিক সম্মান, বোঝাপড়া ও সহযোগিতার ভিত্তিতে দ্বিপাক্ষিক সম্পর্ককে আরও সুদৃঢ় করার প্রত্যাশা ব্যক্ত করেন।
Courtesy Meeting at the Russian Embassy
Discussions on Strengthening Bilateral Relations and Expanding Multidimensional Cooperation
Dhaka, April 9, 2026:
A delegation led by the Ameer-e-Majlis of Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis, Allama Mamunul Haque, paid a courtesy call today at the Russian Embassy in Dhaka. The meeting was led on behalf of the Embassy by His Excellency Vyacheslav Sentyurin, Minister Counsellor and Deputy Chief of Mission.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the longstanding friendly relations between Bangladesh and Russia and emphasized the importance of further strengthening these ties. The delegation expressed sincere gratitude for Russia’s continued cooperation and support towards Bangladesh.
In the discussions, the delegation requested enhanced cooperation from Russia in addressing Bangladesh’s ongoing energy sector challenges. They also expressed their expectation for Russia, as a responsible and influential global power, to play a constructive role in maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East.
Both sides further expressed interest in expanding cooperation in the fields of culture, education, economy, and other potential sectors. They also emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue and engagement in the future.
Also present from Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis were Joint Secretary General Mawlana Ataullah Amin and Secretary for Foreign and International Affairs Mr. Farid Khan. From the Russian Embassy, Press Secretary Ms. Sofia Kutepova was also in attendance.
Both sides expressed their hope to further strengthen bilateral relations based on mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation.
